Do you already have a charger? The true hidden cost of free power tools.

Also going to need bits to adapt sockets.

That has yet to be seen. It did fall out of a vehicle probably going 60mph and survive so it’s got that going for it, which is nice.

Solid find!! Porter Cable is far from the most expensive, but it’s still a valuable discovery, even after buying bits and a charger.

Ooh, nice find! Looks useful.
I once found a Craftsman 3/8" drive ratchet in the road. It was seized up, but I couldn’t bring myself to trade it in because it was a neat old one with the little oil port on the head. So I took it apart and cleaned it up, and it works! But it’s only a 24 tooth, and I’d rather keep using my other ratchets. I figured it was too beat up to bother trying to sell, so I just gave it to my brother. He still uses it.

I’m sure you can find a charger on eBay/FB/CL, and you’ll be in business.

Very nice.
I have the regular drill driver, the small circular saw and reciprocating saw from that line of tools, and a 2ah original and 2x 5ah aftermarket batteries... it is a nice set.
Wish I had found an impact driver lying around to fill out more of the set! ;-)

A charger and battery set would make it really good... Having spare batteries to switch to, both with my porter cable 20v and my E-Go 56v tools, is really handy a charger and two batteries means swapping the batteries between the charger and the tool, and likely that the charging battery will be useable before the battery in use is depleted. Especially a 4Amp-hour battery, and a quick charge-capable charger.

I’ll keep an eye out for a drill and charger at my local pawn shops. They’re pretty good for that kind of stuff.
